aboutME
I presided over my first wedding in 1994, doing several more for friends and family over the years. I went pro in 2009, and have since guided a beautiful diversity of couples through their marriage ceremonies at wedding venues, resorts, hotels, gardens, restaurants, parks, living rooms, backyards and secret spots in the desert.
My feelings for human partnerships are genuine, and I pull, from the depths of my heart and experience, my love for the connections we make with one another. I work creatively (and without judgment) to make your wedding a fulfilling and memorable experience for you and your guests.
I am a native Tucsonan who has lived in Phoenix since 1990. I hold a B.A. and an M.A. in Communication from the University of Arizona and the University of Maryland respectively, and have nearly three decades of college teaching on my resumé.
I’ve been married for many years and enjoy a large network of friends and family. You'll often find me biking around Midtown, at the yoga or art studio, or out walking our adorable scruffy terrier, Mr. Bingley.
